CESAR Helios Observatory Update

Autumn is usually a cloudy season and the CESAR Helios observatory obtains Sun images less frequently. Still, we captured a wonderful image of a plane passing across the disk of the Sun last Tuesday, October 26th, through thin passing clouds:

Visible image of the Sun with a plane crossing (CESAR Helios Observatory, 26/10/2022, 08:28 UTC).

H-alpha image of the Sun with a plane crossing (CESAR Helios Observatory, 26/10/2022, 08:28 UTC).

Enjoy this animation of the plane transit!
