On October 1, 2025, 19 enthusiastic students from Rey Juan Carlos University visited our center for an in-depth look at our daily operations, engaging staff with their insightful questions.

The visit included a tour of our satellite models and the Wall of Fame. Engineer María Herranz presented the public data archives, explaining their importance to society.

The students were also given exclusive access to mission control rooms. Engineer Jorge Fauste demonstrated the operations of the Earth observation mission, SMOS, while Blanca Juárez guided them through the real-time operations room for the high-energy mission, XMM-Newton.
