Sun Rotation - Colegio HH Amorós
19/April/201855 students - 2º ESO
55 excellent students from Colegio HH Amorós visited us this morning. The weather was nice so we stayed outside and talked about what ESAC is and the doubts they had about the cosmos. Then they split in two groups, one group would visit the spacecraft space model exhibition and learn about space exploration, and the other one would do a Science Case about Sun Rotation. Once both groups are over they change positions. In the Science Case they used real archives from the SOHO database at ESAC to measure the rotation of the Sun, which may help us understand its magnetic field and prevent geomagnetic storms.
Thanks for your help, we hope to see you back soon!
