On the 7th of February, 35 students in their 5^th grade of Primary school, came to ESAC to be scientist for a day. Their research topic was focused on the information revealed by the colour of the stars.

Before arriving at ESAC, the students, with their teacher's support, got familiar with the Space Exploration, the European Space Agency role in it and the different types of space missions. They were able to identify those space missions that study the colour of the stars from those that don't and how do astronauts lve in the International Space Station (ISS). All this was possible thanks to a set of videos provided by the CESAR Team to the school during the Space-Science Experience (SSE) process.

The 5th of February, was the date set by the teacher  for the class to talk with the CESAR Team coordinator, Dr. Michel Breitfellner, on skype. In this session, our ESA expert asked students about the material watched and whether they were interesting on some clarification on the topics watched or any other topic related to space.

And we are again on the 7th of February, the day when the students came to ESAC to work hand-to-hand with the ESA experts. For their research at ESAC, students were divided in smaller groups, having each one of them a key role in the group. They were guided to compare the colour of the stars with the colour of  bulbs, what quickly triggered in the children the identification that blue refers to higher temperature while red to lower temperature. After obtaining their findings and putting them  in comon with "the scientific community", their classmates, they students went for a tour around the ESAC facilities, where several satellite models are set up. Through the tour these missions and their relevant discoveries were explained to them.
