Select a set of images of Mars collected by the VMC, on board the Mars Express mission

Task:
Select a set of images of Mars from either the Southern or Northern hemisphere. Once you are familiar with identifying the seasons on Mars, try to repeat this task using both hemispheres.

Tips:
  • The white circled area in the images corresponds to a Mars pole (north or south)
  • The size of the poles vary according to season, just like on Earth.
  • Each image has an identification number (YY-DOY)
