On the 30th of November, 52 primary school students in their 4th-grade from the Montserrat School, came to ESAC with th\\eir teachers to execute the "Scientific Case", within the Space-Science Experience that they have already begun with us some weeks in advance. The Scientific Case selected by the students was "The Colour of the Stars".

The students execute the activity in two shifts, the first one from 9:30 to 11:15h and the second one from 11:30 to 13:15h. Each of the groups started explaining us all what they have learnt by watching our videos in their classroom (with their teacher's support) and later had the chance to ask us the 5-key-questions-that-they-always-wanted-to-know-but-did-not-have-the-chance-to-ask about Space.

The first group (9:30h-11:15h) had the great surprise to count with our Rosetta engineer, D. Miguel Pérez-Ayucar, for answering the most tricky questions about the Rosetta mission.

After this interesting phase, the group was divided into two teams, going one of them to know more about the several ESA missions meanwhile the other team executed the scientific case.Once each of the teams finished, they swapped their activities.

The second group (11:30h-13:15h) had another amazing surprise. After the tour around the models to learn about the ESA missions and work as scientists, understanding the secrets revealed by the colour of the stars .....

...we could ask our astronaut (D. Pedro Duque) all those details about space, that only a person that have live under those conditions could answer. Thanks, Pedro Duque for being the hero of the youngest and fewer youngsters

Students super-happy to get a picture with their hero: D.Pedro Duque
