The Mars Seasons
Mars, the Red Planet, has ever been observed by Humankind with the naked eye. The European Space Agency mission, Mars Express and ExoMars study the planet since 2003 and 2016, respectively.
Using a sample of visible images collected by the VMC camera during the years of 2016 and 2018 on board the Mars Express mission, students will identify the Mars seasons and estimate the duration of a martian year from them.
